Boost Your Immune Health

This is a scary time for all of us. As I sit here in my home and take in what is going on all over the world I can't help but think about two things. One, I feel scared for the people who have weakened immune system and underlying conditions. On the other hand, I am grateful that I have been working on strengthening my immune system for years.

I know that the Coronavirus will come and go like many before. I also know that there will always be something new around the corner. I have been speaking out and encouraging friends and family to take their overall health and immune system health seriously and to take steps now to make that happen. I also wanted to share some of those things with you all.

There are many foods and spices that can help with immune health. My favorites are green tea, broccoli, spinach, Tumeric, garlic, and ginger. In addition to foods and spices, we have put together a Better Boost Pack with some of our products that are known to help boost your immune system. 

Chicken Avocado Soup & Special Holiday Treat!

I don't know about you, but I definitely indulged over the holiday and am ready to get back to healthy eating. This keto chicken avocado lime soup recipe is one of my favorites! It's not only loaded with nutrients and good fats, but it is also absolutely delicious! Too delicious not to share!
1-quart gluten-free chicken broth2 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced, or 1 (14-ounce) can drained1 garlic clove, minced1 tbsp jalapeño pepper, seeded, and minced1/2 tsp cumin1 cup shredded cooked chicken breast3 green onions, finely chopped1 avocado, cut in small dice or thinly sliced¼ cup chopped cilantro2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice, ore more to taste, plus thin slices of lime for garnish 

1.Bring the chicken broth to a simmer, add the chopped tomatoes, garlic, and jalapeño pepper, cumin, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Gingerbread is one of my favorite things over the holiday season. I love baking it and then decorating with my niece and nephew. I also love eating keto gingerbread is where it's at!

How to Make it a Keto Halloween!

Sticking to your keto, low carb, and sugar-free plan definitely gets a lot harder around Halloween. It seems like everywhere you turn there is candy and treats being pushed in your direction.
