The Master's Hammer and Chisel is coming!

On December first Beachbody is launching an all new fitness program called Hammer and Chisel. I am particularly excited about this program because it pairs trainers from two of my favorite programs, Autumn Calabrese and Sagi Kalev. After recently doing the ultimate reset cleanse and losing some muscle I am looking forward to a program that will build me back up! The 21 Day Fix Extreme and Body Beast in the past have both got me in some serious shape, I can't wait to see what this program does for me!

The results that are coming in from the test group are pretty bad ass and I can't wait to get my copy the minute it is released so that I can start. Myself and several of the coaches on my team have committed to going through the program together to keep each other on track.

What's the program all about?
Hammer and Chisel is a 60 Day program where workouts range from 30-40 minutes. Trainers Sagi and Autumn are sought after experts when it comes to sculpting spectacular physique…

10 Tips for Dining Out

Eating out when trying to stick to a health and fitness plan can be tough to say the least. These 10 tips will help you make better choices when you find yourself in that situation.

Tip #1 Do Your Research  Just because you are eating out does not mean that you need to make unhealthy choices. Before heading out to your restaurant of choice google their menu and see what healthy options are on there. Check out their nutritional information and decide what you want to have before you even leave the house. Once you arrive you will already be prepared with what to order.

Tip #2 Pay Attention to Descriptions

Notice how the item is prepared in the description on the menu. Stay away from anything that says: deep fried, pan fried, basted, batter-dripped, breaded, creamy, crispy, scalloped, Alfredo, or in a cream sauce. Stay with items that are steamed, broiled, baked, or sauteed.
Tip #3 Drink Water

Soda, alcohol, and juice are loaded with sugar and calories. What you drink alone can ruin your n…

Maple Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Every Thursday in November I am making a different clean Thanksgiving side recipe. This week I chose Maple Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts. I am a big fan of Brussels sprouts anyway, but I really loved how this recipe dressed them up. The maple syrup was a really good touch.

DIRECTIONS Pre heat oven to 375 degrees FSlice off ends of sprouts and cut in half. Place in a large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and toss to coat. Spread in an even layer cut side down on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
