I knew it was only a matter of time before Beachbody jumped on the future train with streaming workouts! I am very excited to announce that on March 2nd, Beachbody is going ON DEMAND. Woohoo! What does that mean? It is basically Netflix for Beachbody workouts!  Specifics: Starting in March, Team Beachbody will have streaming workouts for their club members . Club members will automatically have access to stream workouts once logged into the website.  Who is On Demand good for? People who don't like sticking with one workou

21 Day Fix Extreme: Cashew 'N' Oat Hotcakes

Image
This recipe is from the 21 Day Fix Extreme Food Plan book and comes out to 1 yellow container, 1/2 purple, and 1 teaspoon. If you are having a pancake craving, these are great!  INGREDIENTS Nonstick cooking spray 2 Cups old-fashioned rolled oats 1/2 cup raw cashews 1 dash sea salt or Himalayan salt 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 large egg 1 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted 1 1/3 cups of water 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 5 cups mixed berries DIRECTIONS Place oats, cashews, salt, and cinnamon in food processor or blender, pulse until ground. Add egg, oil, water, and vanilla extract; pulse until blended well. Batter will be thick, if too thick add some water. Heat medium non-stick skillet, lightly coated with spray, over medium heat. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter into skillet for each pancake; cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbles form on top.  Flip with spatula and cook for 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve pancakes topped with berries.

30 Days to Confidence

Image
Do you ever feel like you were meant for something huge in this world? Like you were put here for a purpose? Do you feel like you could have an impact on others in a positive way, if you were only brave enough to do so? Do you ever create a plan in your head, something amazing, something that the whole world could benefit from...but then that pesky shyness sneaks up on you, grabs you from behind, and pulls you back into that black hole of mediocrity? I get it! Know why? because that is how I felt for the first 30 years of my life! I can remember being 8 years old and having HUGE dreams, I just always felt like I was meant for something big in this world. I felt like I had the power to make a difference, but even then I was held back by a lack of confidence, and overcome by shyness. I may have had all the answers in class, but there was no way I would put my hand up. I may have been able to make every shot on the court, but the fact that someone had once called me a 'hun&

21 Day Fix Extreme: Meatloaf

Image
I got this meatloaf recipe from the 21 Day Fix Extreme eating plan, and I was very excited to see it back there. My mom loves to make meatloaf...and she loves to invite me over for her meatloaf...and I love her meatloaf....only problem is, I can't eat it! My moms meatloaf definitely does not fit into my meal plan , but now I can have her make this for me! It was easy to make, good portion size, and fulfilled my meatloaf craving! For this recipe you use 1 red, 1/2 purple, and 1/2 yellow.  Ingredients 2 lbs Raw 93% lean ground turkey 1 cup all-natural mild salsa 1 cup cooked quinoa, cooled 2 large eggs, lightly beaten 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped 1 tsp. Sea salt or Himalayan salt Ground pepper to taste (optional) Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish, optional) Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees F Combine turkey, salsa, quinoa, eggs, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, mix well by hand or with a spatula.  Shape mixture into shape of a loaf

21 Day Fix Extreme: Week 1 Review, Week 2 Meal Plan

Image
I have just completed my first full week of the 21 Day Fix Extreme , and I am still pretty excited about it! I was coming off of 60 days or MAX:30 and lets just say I was having trouble during that program when it came to nutrition. I saw results, but not what I was hoping for with the holiday food , and traveling . 1 week into the fix extreme, and I can already see results, and I feel better!  The workouts are intense, but doable, and they use weights...just how I like them! If you thought pilates in the regular 21 Day Fix was tough, wait until you try pilates extreme! We tried out the bonus dvd that came in the fix this week at fit club, and lets just say by the end we were dying!! I have been diligent with my meal planning , and prep, so this week was easy to stick to my plan! Without the meal plan , I would be in the same boat that I was in last week, so make a plan!  I started testing out some of the recipes , and there were definitely some highlights! Th

TeamBStrong Coach Opportunity: Could this be your calling?

Image
When I joined as a Beachbody coach 3 years ago I did it to get a discount on the products. I was obsessed with Shakeology and always wanted to have the newly released programs, so it just made sense to sign up. Long story short, I started running my own challenge groups, and realized I could help to change people lives for the better...I became addicted to that as well.  When I started to work the business I knew I wanted to eventually leave my full time job, but my first goal was to just make enough money to pay my credit card bills. I knew that being a coach would help me stay on track with my own health and fitness, I knew it would help me pay my credit card bills and get me a 25% discount on the products, but what I didn't know was that I was going to be traveling the country, and meeting some of the most amazing people alive, who would soon become my closest friends.  We always talk about the technical stuff involved with being a coach. 21 Day Fix Extreme Egg Muffins

Image
I am on day 2 of the 21 Day Fix Extreme and am already seeing a difference. Over the fall and winter I fell into some bad eating habits, and this program so far is helping me to get back on track! These egg muffins are one of my favorite snacks from the Fix Extreme recipe guide because they are quick and easy to make, filling, and taste delish!  INGREDIENTS Non stick cooking spray 12  large eggs sea salt or himalayan salt ground black pepper baby spinach finely chopped  medium red bell pepper finely chopped any other veggies you want to add! DIRECTIONS Pre heat oven to 375 degrees F Coat a twelve-cup muffin tin with spray Whisk eggs in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper Add your spinach, pepper, and other veggies; mix well Pour the mixture evenly into the muffin cups Bake for 15-20 minute. 21 Day Fix Extreme Meal Plan

Image
There has been lots of excitement around the release of the 21 Day Fix Extreme this past Monday, myself included! I got my copy rushed to me, and now it is time to meal plan! What makes this program different from the regular 21 Day Fix is that everything is more extreme...hence the name. Both the workouts and the meal plan is amped up, which will be sure to make for some extreme results. I have tried two of the workouts so far, and so far I love what I have seen and can't wait to start for real tomorrow! I will be doing several rounds of this program leading up to the Beachbody Success Club trip in Cancun this April! I am bringing my best friend Liz who has a bikini competition the weekend before and will be in tip top shape. I figured if I am going to be sitting next to her on the beach, I also want to be bikini ready!  When it comes to Fix Extreme meal plans, there are two choices: The Extreme Meal Plan, and The Countdown to Competition.  Extreme Meal Plan

I am pretty excited to share that we have 5 crazy deals going on within Team Beachbody during the month of February.
