Results: Brazil Butt Masters Series

After a week away in Punta Cana with my friend who has the most perfect backside I decided that I was going to work on mine by doing the 30 day Brazil Butt Lift Master Series. I really wasn't sure what to expect because honestly, watching the trailer, I thought it was going to be an easy workout. I will straight up tell you that I was 100% wrong. It was nothing like I have ever done before, and I would definitely not categorize it as easy. 

Let's just say these were moves that I have never done before and they took a little getting use to. Slowly but surely over the 4 week period, I increased my ankle weights and the moves were becoming easier. By the end of the 30 days, I was happy with how my glutes had changed and I am intrigued to see what another 30 days would bring. I am not entirely sure if I am going to commit entirely to the Brazil Butt Lift program, but I am definitely going to at least be adding some of the workouts in several times a week!

Recipe Thursday: Vegan Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

I love finding vegan desserts and trying them out. This recipe Thursday I tried something brand spanking new...flax eggs. I got this chocolate chip banana bread recipe from Spoon University, and absolutely loved it! It was easy to make, easy to clean up, and tasted delicious! Two thumbs up on this end!! Cook Time: 1 hour 


2 1/2 cups brown rice flour1/2 teaspoon baking soda1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon2 flax eggs (how to make flax eggs) 6 ripe bananas, mashed1/4 cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup melted coconut oil 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Beachbody is Finally Going International! United Kingdom Here We Come!

I have been a coach with Beachbody for 6 years now and have always wondered why we were only in North America. Welp, I no longer need to wonder because Beachbody is FINALLY going international! Great news right? Yes! In the late fall of 2017, we will be heading across the pond to the United Kingdom!

Spiced Eggplant-Lentil Salad with Mango

As you guys know, every Thursday I make a recipe for what I call, "Recipe Thursday". Each Monday I search the internet for clean and interesting Vegan recipes to test out. I then pick two of my favorites and let you all vote which one I will make on my facebook page. I make the winner the following Thursday. 

This Thursday you all chose a goodie!! I found this recipe at Eating Well and made a few tweaks to make it vegan. I really loved this Indian-inspired recipe. It was the perfect about of spice and the mango made it refreshing, perfect for the summertime!

4 Natural Ways to Decrease Anxiety and Stress

Most everyone deals with some level of anxiety or stress on a daily or weekly basis. Maybe you have a job interview, a big test coming up, or you are meeting your significant other's family. That is completely normal but more than 40 million Americans actually deal with more significant chronic anxiety. For those people, such things as social phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and PTSD are the reality they have to deal with on a day to day basis. I am one of the 40 million people who battle anxiety on a daily basis. There was a time I thought I would be ruled by my disorder for the rest of my life, but thankfully that was not the case. There are many ways natural ways one can cope with having an anxiety disorder in addition to medication and treatment.

Recipe Thursday: Vegan Chocolate Tart with Salted Oat Crust

We needed some desserts in our Recipe Thursday so this week I went for a Vegan Chocolate Tart with Salted Oat Crust that I found over at Bon appetite! Check them out. I gave this one two thumbs up. I loved it although could only have a little piece because it was so rich. Perfect vegan dessert! 

INGREDIENTS:  (8 servings)


1 1/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats 3/4 cup whole wheat flour 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil, melted, slightly cooled1/4 cup light agave syrup2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe Thursday: Sugar Snap Pea and Carrot Soba Noodles

I found this recipe over at Cookie and Kate and I must say that it is one of my favorites so far. The recipe was really easy to make and great for a light but filling lunch or dinner. The edamame added the perfect amount of protein for my 21 day fixmeal plan, and it tasted delicious! Let me know what you think! 

INGREDIENTS: 6 ounces soba noodles 2 cups frozen organic edamame 3 cups sugar snap peas6 medium sized carrots, peeled1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro 1/4 cup sesame seedsginger sesame sauce: 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce or tamari (I used Braggs liquid aminos)2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil 1 small lime, juiced 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil 1 Tbsp. honey (for vegan use agave) 1 Tbsp. white miso 2 tsp. freshly grated ginger1 tsp. chili garlic sauce or sriracha

I'm Getting a Butt Lift! Without the Surgery.

My friends and I have just returned from a tropical vacation in Punta Cana with thousands of Beachbody coaches. Sitting around the pool seeing people walk by in their bikinis inspired us to do the Brazil Butt Lift program from Leandro Carvalho. Leandro is one of Beachbody's Super Trainers and will be releasing a new dance program this month called YOUv2. We figured what better way to get ready for Leandro's new program and tone our butts than Brazil Butt lifts Master Series. Since this program is already part of our Beachbody on Demand library we were all set and ready to go as soon as we got back, and hundreds of people decided to join us.
I for one am really excited for this program because my butt has always been something that I have been self-conscious about. I plan on owning it by the end of these 30 days.
