22 Minute Hard Corps: GET SOME!

The excuse of not having enough time to work out is really being put to the test!! March 1 Beachbody and creator of P90X, Tony Horton will be releasing an all new at home fitness program called 22 Minute Hard Corps...22 minutes!!

Tony Horton has always been a huge supporter of our military. He can often be found traveling to different military bases working out with the people there. He wanted to make a workout that connected civilians on a deeper level with our military that not only got people results, but provided us the opportunity to see what basic training is all about. 
One of the cool things about this program is that everyone who is in the video working out are veterans and one of the workouts was even recorded on board the USS Iowa Battleship.

I am sure that many of you can tell, but for those of you who don't know me I am pretty passionate about coaching and helping people get health both physically and mentally. That being said, this is going to be the most REAL and HONEST post that I have ever written about the coaching opportunity. Clean Eating Butternut Squash Soup

Very simple and tasty clean eating butternut squash soup! Easy to make and very good. (serves 6)

INGREDIENTS 

2 Tablespoons of coconut oil1 medium onion, diced1 medium butternut squash peeled, seeded, and diced into cubes.6 cups of water or chicken stock

DIRECTIONS In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Sautee onion until golden brown.Add the squash and cook for 10 minutes until soft.Pour the water or stock over the squash mixture.Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.Put the mixture in a food processor and puree in small batches until the mixture is smooth. Serve and Enjoy!

3 Tips to Stop Negative Self Talk

I've come to notice in my 33 years on this earth that the BIGGEST factor holding me back from achieving my goals was none other than the one and only ME! I was being my own worst enemy. Had anyone else spoke to me the way I was speaking to myself, I probably would of punched them in the face (I really don't condone violence). Luckily I realized what I was doing and actively made an effort to change my thinking before living that way my entire life! 
Today I am going to share 3 tips that I used to help get that negative self talk under control!
