Coach Life: TeamBstrong

It's only mid-January and already I have traveled from Boston to Pittsburgh, then LA, Long Beach, and San Diego. People often ask me if I travel often for work, and the answer is no...I travel often BECAUSE of work! 

Once upon a time I dreamed of my life at 34 years old. I envisioned the picture perfect family with 2.5 kids, a white picket fence in suburbia, and my own multi-million dollar business that I just conjured up on a whim one day that allowed me to view work as fun, and do what I wanted. Although my life is nowhere near what I envisioned, it is pretty damn awesome. I didn't create my own multi-million dollar business, but I did find myself a pretty awesome gig where I am my own boss, able to travel the country, use my creativity to grow my business, and inspire others to get healthy! 

I am a health and fitness coach with Team Beachbody, but I don't consider myself JUST a health and fitness coach. I consider myself an agent of positive change, someone who inspires and encourages others to make their visions reality whether that be in health or in business, I teach people about personal development and growth, nutrition, and overall well-being. The best part of the deal is, I can do it from anywhere in the world which has led me to a little bit of a travel addiction. 

Growing up in the 90's becoming an online health and fitness motivator was not even a thought...it just didn't exist, but with the birth of the internet, and more importantly social media, making a legitimate income online is a very real thing, and also very fulfilling. 

At 27 years old after being the GM of a very successful and busy healthy fast food restaurant in Logan Airport, I found myself burnt out and drained. I loved my job, but I was working 70-80 hours a week and constantly on my feet. We opened at 4 am, closed sometimes close to 1 am, and did not have holidays off...the airport is always open. I loved the idea of healthy living, and being around people, but I hated the thought of never having the freedom to do what I wanted in my life so I ended up leaving that position and going to work for my small family business in the flooring industry. Very quickly I realized that carpet just wasn't my thing. I enjoyed working for my family, but the flooring business just wasn't my passion...I needed something more but felt as if I had missed my chance. That is when I found Beachbody and started to realize that social media was changing the way we do business. 

Two weeks into my first challenge group I fell in love with health, fitness, motivation, and Beachbody. I became a coach and started to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. I KNEW that this was the job for me! Since then I have grown my business enough to go full time. Being a full-time coach means making my own hours, and working from anywhere I like. Since I was able to make friends all over North America, I used that to my advantage and started visiting my friends all over while I worked. 

Why am I tell you this? Well, I am completely obsessed with my job and am now growing a team of coaches who are just like me. I am looking for people like you who want to make an income on their own time from wherever you choose. I am looking for people who are passionate about helping others, looking for a fulfilling career, are obsessed with the power of social media, and want to create positive change in our world. I have a vision for my team. I envision positive, healthy people who realize how short life is, and want to make the best of it not just for themselves, but for everyone around them. I envision a team of motivated, determined people who aren't afraid to work hard because they can see how amazing the results are. I have come to learn that it is OK to build the life of your dreams, it's ok to make a good income doing something you love that doesn't feel like work, it's ok to actually enjoy life!!
