Jaime's Picks: Cape Cod (Brewster & Provincetown)

I travel a lot, and I also like to eat healthy food. I've decided that I am going to start incorporating those two things and blog about where I am eating when I am traveling in case you all are interested. This past week I got to spend a week with my family in Brewster, MA. We hung out at the beach, enjoyed each others company, and explored the Cape. These are a few of my favorite spots that I hit while on the road.

First stop, Karma Foods in Brewster, MA.

Karma is a dedicated gluten free, organic kitchen that creates the most delicious and healthy foods and beverages. The goal at Karma is to provide the freshest organic ingredients possible by using their own farm that they have there on site as well as other local sources. I had the hearty kale salad and it was absolutely delicious. I honestly scraped every last crumb I could from the bowl. They also have fresh juice to choose from as well.

I was very pleased with this new addition to Brewster!!

Next stop, The Canteen in Provincetown, MA

Aside from the wide range of delicious food options that they have at The Canteen, I am mostly in love with their backyard seating area.

I got to enjoy a nice Kale and Quinoa Salad with Tofu while overlooking the Provincetown ocean while enjoying my aunt and cousins company. They also just expanded their back yard seating area adding chairs on the sand and a bar!

Another one of my favorite healthy spots in Provincetown is the Grab n Go Health Bar. All of their food and drinks are made fresh to order with organic ingredients and they offer a wide range of selections in particular for people who eat plant-based diets like me. Some of my favorites include the walnut meat tacos and zucchini pesto noodles, YUM! Whether you want a salad, acai bowl, or vegan soft served, the Grab n Go is where to go!

Need something to do to work off all the food you ate on vacation? How about renting bikes in Ptown or I like to head over to Nauset surf shop and rent a paddle board for the week! There are lots of active outdoor activities to do in the cape and lots of good and healthy food to go with it!!

Next stop for me, NOLA!! We will see how that one goes, I have no idea what to expect!!
