In The End, There's a New Beginning
This past week I made a really hard decision. After 6 years of coaching with Team Beachbody, I felt as if it was my time to move on. Although I love Beachbody products and will continue to do the workouts and nutrition plans, my soul was being pulled in another direction. About two months ago I was approached with a product from Pruvit called Keto OS. At the time I was convinced the product was the devil and wanted nothing to do with it due to things I had seen online about it being some kind of magic potion. I am someone who very strongly believes in eating clean and nutritious foods as well as making workouts and exercise a part of my everyday life. I had been approached with ketones in the past by people pushing a quick fix, but this time was different. She wasn't talking about the quick fix of ketones, she was talking about getting off ADD medication, lifting brain fog, improving focus, energy, mood, and sleep. I figured after hearing all of that, that I should give it a try. Fast forward to last week...I found myself in an internal struggle. I loved Beachbody and everything I had within in the company, but something kept pulling me in the direction of Pruvit. Even then, I did not want to leave everything I had built.
A friend of mine had come to visit me in Florida before attending a weekend event for Pruvit and had invited me to go. I declined but was still going to drive her to the event and return home asap. A funny thing happened on the way to the event...I like to think it was the universe smacking me in the face. On our ride over, Purple Rain by Prince came on the radio (one of my favorites), and I look over to my friend and say, "Pruvit should make a flavor called Purple Rain". She agreed and we laughed continuing on singing and driving. Once we made it to the event before I was packing up to head home, the company released their newest flavor...can you guess? Yes, it was called Purple Reign! I took that as a sign that I should at least stay for the event and see what this Pruvit thing was all about...and so I did.
As I sat in the room that weekend more and more things started to make sense and click. Aside from the non-stop signs from the universe, I heard from scientists and doctors about what exogenous ketones are, what they are doing for our minds and bodies, and where they are headed in the future. In addition to that, the Pruvit community was one that I fit right into. I loved the energy at the event, the mindset of the leaders and attendees, and the feel of the entire community. I heard stories of what ketones were doing for people with Alzheimer's and other things that really intrigued me...but still, I wasn't 100% sure about making the switch.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am an extremely spiritual person and am all about energy and what we put out in the universe. On the last day of the event, I asked the universe for one more sign...I asked it to show me my spirit animal, the wolf so that I knew this was the right path. Low and behold, the LAST words from the CEO was a story...about wolves...that man said wolf at least TEN TIMES before I stopped counting. That was it, that was what I needed.
For me, ketones aren't about weight loss (although it works well for people who are interested in that), it was about what it was doing for my mind. I couldn't deny that I saw the future of health and fitness in the room that day, and felt pulled to join. If you have heard about ketones and are wanting to try, let's chat.
