What a Day of Meals Looks Like for Me
I remember when I started out in my first challenge group I had absolutely no idea how to eat. I didn't know when I should be eating or what I should be eating. With that in mind, I decided to put this post together to show you what a days worth of meals looks like for me. Every day I try to eat every 2-3 hours 6 times a day. At each meal I pair a fruit or veggie with lean protein. A couple fruits that I stay away from are grapes, and pineapple mainly because they are really high in sugar. See the picture below for a list of some clean eating foods you can add to your next grocery list.
A TYPICAL DAY OF FOOD FOR ME
7:00 AM- Wake up and make a Shakeology.
My favorite shake recipe is the chocolate peanut butter banana. I use 1 cup of almond milk, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 scoop of Shakeology, and half of a banana. There are lots of other recipes to choose from, but this one is my favorite.
10:00 A.M. - First snack, Power Granola. My snacks vary day to day and at the end of this post I will make a list of snacks.

1:00 P.M.- Lunch Time! Most days my lunch is usually leftovers from the night before or a salad with lean protein. When I do have a salad I load it up with a ton of veggies, and I never use creamy dressings.
3:00 P.M. - Snack #2. Coconut Milk yogurt with fresh blueberries. I am lactose intolerant so I always use non-dairy, but another great yogurt option is non-fat Greek yogurt.
6:00 P.M.- Dinner time! Spaghetti squash with turkey meatballs. Again, dinner varies from night to night. There are a few go to recipes I like to stick with. You can find some of those here. If I am not making one of those recipes it is usually baked chicken or fish, with quinoa or sweet potato, and a ton of green veggies.
Depending on what time I go to bed sometimes I will have another small snack. You should not be eating right before you go to sleep. The last meal I eat will be at least 2 hours before my bed time and is usually a small one. Sometimes I have another shake only using half a scoop of shakeology. Or some veggies with hummus.
SOME OTHER SNACK IDEAS:
Veggies with Hummus
Fruit with a handful of unsalted almonds
Celery with 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter
2 hard boiled eggs
Oatmeal with fruit
Quinoa
I hope you all found this helpful. If you have any questions feel free to message me!
