My Transformation!
MY TRANSFORMATION
When I started my first challenge group in January of 2012, I had my mind set that I was finishing the 90 days! I was sick of hearing myself SAY, "I want to get in shape" and "this time next year I will be in shape" but never actually following through. I was 29 years old with only a few short months left in my twenties and it was time to make a change. I was one of "those people". You know the kind that always say, "I feel fat" or "I wish I ate better" but never do anything to change it. One of my favorite sayings is "shit in one hand, wish in the other...let me know which one fills up first". And this was a perfect example of that. Something finally clicked in my head. I stopped talking about it, and started being about it! It was the best thing I ever did in my life. Little by little I started feeling good and changing both physically and mentally for the better. At first I really didn't notice that much of a difference. Had I not taken pictures and measurements at the beginning of the program and every thirty days after that, I would have given up early on. Thankfully I took them, and didn't give up. Now I am in the best shape of my life and continue to get better and better!
THE PROGRAMS
LES MILLS PUMP
My first fitness program was Les Mills Pump. It was a good choice for me because I was a beginner and hadn't worked out in forever.. My nights and weekends before the challenge began consisted of drinking lots of beers and smoking, so needless to say I was not in prime shape what so ever. Originally I thought that by the end of the 90 days I was going to be skinny and jacked, but that was not the case. I was a little disappointed, but what I and everyone else who starts on a program should realize is, my body didn't get to where it was over night. It took years of eating badly, drinking LOTS, and not caring about my health to get to that point. Therefor, it is also going to take time to get it back. Once I realized that point, I pushed myself even hard to reach my goal.
Above are my pictures from day 1 to day 90 doing Les Mills Pump. Although not the extreme results I was hoping for, I lost 4lbs (which doesn't seem like much but the scale doesn't matter as much as we think it does, I will get into that later!), 3.5 inches from my waist, 4 inches from my hips, and 4 inches from my chest, not to mention gained major muscle :)

This is my after picture for the reset!
Since the reset, my injury has healed and I have finished a many more of the Beachbody programs. Since then I have done Body Beast, and T25! Both had very different target points, but I must say that T25 is my favorite!
