FREEDOM: Releasing the Chains That Held Me Down!
I was locked down in chains. My anxiety and depression had completely taken over my life. I used it as an excuse to not go after the things I wanted, and as a crutch to not step outside of my comfort zone. I was about to settle. I was about to just accept that being unhappy was my fate. Luckily something woke me up...
I was at the lowest point I had ever been at. I woke up on Nov. 1st totally hung over with no recollection of what had happened the night before. The night before I had hosted a Halloween party. About 100 people got dressed up and headed over to my place for drinking games, and fun. I was the only one not having fun. I had finally came to the realization that I just wasn't happy with the way things were. I could no longer use alcohol or excuses, I had to take ownership of my life and make a change.
My change started with my own personal health and fitness but quickly escalated to freedom and purpose. I took my new found passion for health and fitness and wanted to turn it into my own personal purpose and on MY terms, so I became a coach!
The word freedom means SO many things to me. It means freedom from my anxiety and depression, freedom from a 9-5, freedom from negative people who hold me back, freedom to travel, to live outside of the norm, and to feel good about being 100% myself. Finding the coaching opportunity helped me take that first step in releasing the chains that kept me prisoner in my own life.
In the past, anytime I began to break free from the chains I would let other people's opinions or comments hold me back. I didn't have any support or encouragement to take chances and make changes. Thankfully my coaching network encourages doing personal development daily. Without that, I never would have had the confidence, drive, or determination to make significant lasting changes in my life.
I'm going to be blatantly honest with you, many of us grow up believing that success is for other people. We grow up thinking that someone else is better qualified, more talented, smarter, stronger, prettier, taller....whatever it may be. Those self-limiting beliefs are what hold us back from living our best life. Those self-limiting beliefs are what held me back from going after anything at all. Those beliefs are false, but because you believe them they become reality.
The moment I joined my coaching team I may not have believed in myself, but my coach did. That was all it took for a chain reaction to completely transform the way I felt about myself, and therefore my life. My entire life I would get random glimpses of what my life could be. I would imagine myself being a CEO, leading a company, and inspiring change. Those thoughts were always pushed aside until I joined with Beachbody.
There are many benefits to coaching. You make your own hours, make an income for being healthy and exercising, feel a sense of purpose by inspiring others, are able to work from anywhere you choose, you have freedom to travel the world, get to meet amazing and uplifting people who become your friends, and grow personally on the daily. Those are all reasons why I do this, but the #1 reason I have for coaching is that I am free from the chains that held me down. When those doubts and feelings creep back in, I have support from my fellow coaches who talk me out of it or suggest a good personal development book. When negative people try to drain my energy, I find support in my coach friends and family, and when someone tries to tear me down, I have the utmost confidence in who I am and what I am doing on this earth.
I am now creating a team of coaches from all over who want to do what I do. A new passion of mine is helping people to get rid of limiting beliefs and to go after their dreams. On my team specifically, I personally mentor my coaches to develop the skills and confidence that it takes to be successful as an online health and fitness coach. I help them learn how to make an income while also learning to become free from the chains that hold them down. Does that sound like something you would be interested in?
I am currently accepting applications for my new coach mentorship that begins on Monday, February 27th. I am looking for 10 people who want to transform their lives through becoming an online health and fitness coach. There are only 5 spots available due to me giving one on one attention. If you are ready to release the chains, I want you to apply below! There may be a spot for you on our team.
