Have you seen this yet or what?? My friend Melanie Mitro made my life the other night when she posted this recipe over on her blog, Committed to Getting Fit! I am a CHOCOLHOLIC....I love it...too much...so much so that it could greatly affect my progress toward my fitness goals. I am now halfway through my second round of the 21 Day Fix Extreme and doing well, but still have another week, and then another round before my trip to Cancun. I earned a free trip with all my Beachbody coach friends just for doing our job (that's a story for another day), and my guest is my best friend Liz. The only thing is she has been training HARD CORE for a fitness competition that is happening the weekend before we leave. That means she is going to be in PRIME shape for Cancun. That is great for her (props to you Liz, you are working hard), but that also means that I need to work my butt off and prep myself for our trip. There is no way I am lying next to Liz on the beach with 3% body fat and not preparing myself. Plus it is a fun way to stay motivated. That being said, there are no cheats on the 21 Day Fix Extreme...UNTIL NOW!
Here's what you do!
Take one spoonful of coconut oil, melt it. Mix it with 1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology (make sure it's mixed well).Spread it out on a piece of parchment paper, or plastic wrap. I form it into a chocolate bar. You can even write your name on it if you are a geek like me. Then stick it in the freezer for about ten minutes. Take it out, and you have a 21 Day Fix approved chocolate bar! So good!
I have also done half chocolate shakeology, half strawberry which was also very good! I've added cayenne for some kick, cinnamon, whatever it is you like.
